Copper Mountain Ski Lift

I'll try to post some of the highlights from our trip starting with our trip up the Copper Mountain Ski Lift. The first picture is Hal's main form of transportation for the trip...in our front/back carrier. The others are on the way up and at the top with Grandma and Grandpa.

First Day on Vacation

After a rather uneventful 4 hour flight, and rather loud 1 hour drive, we arrived safely at our destination Sunday evening...Silverthorne, CO. Today we did a little walking, a little shopping and a little sleeping, as you can see in the following pictures. Don't let them fool you....Kate ONLY slept during this 45 min walk and for a girl who usually can nap for 1.5-2 hours, this made for an interesting day. I don't have the best camera for distance photos but I still thought the second one posted was a nice picture. More to come...

Kayaking

So, we have had these kayaks in our garage since before we were married...and we FINALLY used them (thanks Henry!) My Dad and Dan had a good time getting them ready to launch! Kate seemed to like her short ride as well! We are enjoying the 4th of July weekend and plan on heading to the beach again today (assuming weather cooperates).

This is Natalie, a midshipman whose Dan's parents sponsor. Kate LOVES having her here!!
